Feeling the Pressure

It’s interesting that often the only thing that can force us to take action is extreme pressure. For example you could have the capabilities to earn more money but because you don’t have to, you don’t.

It’s only when pressure comes along that it forces you to act. This pressure could be in the form of a new child, a new house or perhaps a loan. Suddenly these new higher financial demands cause you to go out and earn more.

My point is that if you have this potential to earn more and have more success why does it take extreme pressure to push yourself harder. Why can you not just start earning more today without needing an expensive occurrence to take place?

So many of us have an inner source of energy and drive which we rarely tap into. If we could unlock and use it we could all achieve so much more.

One way to generate this pressure is with the use of a goal. If you set yourself a target to increase your income by a set amount and then let everyone know about it. This will allow you to simulate pressure on yourself and drive you forward in the right direction. Having goals is something I’m sure you are bored to death hearing about. Everyone on the planet tells you to make goals.

If you don’t have clear measurable goals written down then perhaps now is the time to start!
