You need time to step back from your present line of thinking to see through your mind’s eye what is going on in your life, what circumstances and situations people and events you are living with? Now focus on only those that provide positive energy and add value, real meaning and heartfelt purpose to the quality of your life.
Remember to include the positive things going on around you that are just happening which you have always taken for granted, these are the things you need to find to feel a real sense of thanks and gratitude for, and if you delve really deep you will amaze yourself with what you find.
Here is an example of a way to identify the things we really should be more grateful for but tend not to consider when giving thanks for the beautiful things in your life.
Imagine this: What would you do if somebody came up to you one day and asked you if they could buy one of your limbs, an arm a leg a foot and hand or even just a thumb. How much would you sell them for? Let’s say they offered you 1 million pound for a leg, would you sell it? To take the time to think about a life without that limb of part of your anatomy will help you to feel gratitude for what you do have, our body’s are worth millions to us and we don’t even consider it.
To spend some time in deep gratitude for the things you currently have in your life will help you to feel happier and release you from everyday stresses that we build up in our minds from the simplest of things which we allow to cause us such frustration and irritation and negative feelings.
We have to remember that what we focus on will manifest in our lives and to express sincere emotions of gratitude is attracting positive energy into our lives filling them with joy and harmony. The hardest obstacle for most to overcome is feeling gratitude during times of pain or unhappiness and altering their reactive thoughts to those situations to a mindset that can feel gratitude.
We can literally change our thoughts instantaneously to feel whatever emotion we desire simply by changing what thoughts we allow into our minds. If we acknowledge this inner power we all have, encourage and practice it as a daily habit, forbid ourselves to feel ungrateful for the things we have, gratitude will become a strong virtue that will shine from our personalities attracting that energy of life we all deserve called happiness.
